DISCUSSION AGENDA 

1. Bid Award Consideration for Ditchline Repairs, Road Repairs, and Resurfacing

   Speaker:  Doug Chapman, Town Engineer

   Bids were received for these three capital projects on Thursday afternoon, July 14.  Council will review the bid results and consider bid award for each of these three capital projects.

2. Overnight Parking Status and Options

   Speaker: Tony Jones, Police Chief

   On April 5, 2016, the Blowing Rock Town Council approved an overnight parking ordinance. Since that time, signs have been ordered and installed at the entrance to all public parking lots in Town. The goal of the ordinance to maximize availability of spaces for visitors during the day.  Implementation results and options going forward will be discussed and reviewed by Council.

Prior to the meeting, anyone wishing to speak shall complete an index card supplied by the Town Clerk, on which they will provide their name, address, telephone number and the topic they wish to address. In deference to all who wish to speak, each speaker will be asked to limit his or her comments to no more than three (3) minutes.
