The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) Opens in Watauga County October 15th.

The DRC is a one-stop shop for you to apply for assistance in person with a FEMA representative. The DRC is located at 130 Poplar Grove Connector, Boone, NC open Monday through Sunday 8:00 am to 7:00pm. No appointment is necessary.

Should I Apply? 

You may be eligible for FEMA assistance in the wake of Helene. FEMA may be able to help you with home repairs, temporary housing, or property damage (appliances, furniture, vehicle, etc). You may also qualify for help with childcare, medical, lodging, moving, and more.
